There is excepted from said District all streets and all <br />other public p in use in the performance of a oublic <br />function, <br />Notfl c e is hereby given that serial bonds to represent the <br />unpaid of .$25.00 or over, bearing interest at the <br />rate of _ Six _ per cent ( 6% ) per annum will be issued pur- <br />suant to the provisions of Article 1 of Ordinance No. III <br />entitled "Redwood City Improvement Procedure Ordinance". adopted <br />March 14, 1932. <br />as amended, the last installment of which bonds shall mature <br />fourteen (1)0 years from the 2nd day of J ap ua U . __ <br />next succeeding the 15th day of the next __,Npvember <br />following their date. <br />Notice is hereby given that. _ M the 7 <br />day of 1954 , at the hour of eight o'clock <br />P.M., at the Council Chamber in the City Hall of said City, is <br />hereby fixed as the time and place when and where any and all <br />persons interested may appear and show cause, if any they have, <br />why the City Council should not find and determine that the <br />loublic convenience and necessity require the improvements <br />described and referred to in this resolution, without further <br />com_3liance with the Special Assessment, Investigation, Limita- <br />tion, and Majority Protest Act of 1931 of the State of California <br />now embodied in the Streets and Highways Code of California as <br />Division 4 thereof. <br />The City Clerk shall give notice of the adoption of this <br />resolution by publishing a Notice of Proposed Local Improvement <br />once in the Redwood City Tribune, a daily newspaper published <br />and circulated in said City, and by posting same on or near the <br />Council Chamber door of said Council, said posting and publica- <br />tion to be made at least ten days before the date of said hear- <br />ing. <br />-6- <br />
