RESOLUTION NO. <br />AUTHORIZING REMOVAL OF RACIAL RESTRICTIONS <br />LOTS 25 AND 26, 'NEST H F,9NOOD ADDITION NO. 1 <br />W17,R AS, Lots 25 and 26, Block 5, as designated on that <br />map entitled. "West Redwood Addition No. 1, which map was filed <br />in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo 'County, California <br />on November 7, 1908, in Book 6 of Maps, at page 47, were sold <br />to the City of Redwood City for delinquent taxes, and <br />WHERDkS, DOMI NIC LUCCHESI and IDA. LUCCHESI, his wife, <br />as joint tenants, thereafter purchased said property and ob- <br />tained a deed from the City of Redwood City, in which deed <br />racial restrictions were inadvertently inserted restricting <br />occupancy thereof to members of the Caucasian. race, <br />NOVA`, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF RElWi� OOD <br />CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That all restrictions as to racial occupancy of said <br />property be, and,they are hereby,removed and the owner of said <br />property and any successor in interest is hereby freed from any <br />restrictions with respect to occupancy of said property. <br />2. That a copy of this resolution, duly certified by <br />the Clerk of the City of Redwood City, be delivered to the <br />California Pacific Title :Insurance Company for recordation. <br />.A .. % A ,H <br />
