R E S 0 L U T I 0 N N 0. �/�® 7 <br />GRANTING VARIANCE TO R. POWELL TO <br />ALLOW TEN FOOT (10' ) REAR YARD ON <br />LOT 4 BLOCK 61, EASTERN ADDITION. <br />WHER , .S, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood <br />City, State of California, has submitted the application of <br />R. POWELL for a variance with the recommendation that such <br />application be granted; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City has <br />considered said-application for variance in accordance with <br />Section 20 of Ordinance No. 600, said ordinance being the <br />Zoning Ordinance of the City of Redwood City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY HEREBY <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS <br />1. Said Council finds the following conditions exist: <br />(a) That there are exceptional or extraordinary <br />circumstances which apply to the land, building ,or <br />use referred to in the application, which circum- <br />stances or conditions do not generally apply to <br />land, buildings or uses in the same district. <br />(b) That the granting of the application is <br />necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of <br />substantial property rights of the petitioner. <br />} (c) , That the granting of such application <br />will not materially affect adversely neighboring <br />or the <br />proper public welfare or the health or <br />safety of persons residing or working in the <br />neighborhood. <br />2. Said Council hereby grants to R. POWELL a variance <br />in the rear, yard requirements or. Lot 4 Block 6l, Eastern <br />t <br />Addition, to allow a ten (10) foot rear yard. <br />11 ., _, <br />
