1 <br />R E S O L U T I O N N 0. 1718 <br />AivlENDING WATER DIIEPARTI'.I ENT RULES A.l'rD <br />REGULATIONS 1 RESPECT TO EXTENSION <br />OF WATER MAINS 4ND SERVICE CHARGES <br />FOR SPRIN - U1ER SYSTE14 APPARATUS. <br />RESOLVED BY TIE COUNCIL OF RED CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Rules and regulations for the Redwood City eater Depart- <br />meet approved by the Council of Redwood City on December 15, 1947, <br />and effective January 1, 1948, as amended, are hereby amended as <br />f 011ow s <br />(a) Section 15 -a with respect to main extensions is <br />hereby deleted in its entirety. <br />(b) Section 3 entitled "Rates" is hereby amended by <br />adding thereto a new section (4) to read as follows: <br />(4). A service charge of 03.00 per month shall <br />be made for all connections made for a sprinkler <br />service for fire protection purposes, which amount <br />shall be billed in the manner provided by the Water <br />Department rules and regulations for other water <br />bills. <br />2. Regulations established herein shall be effective immed- <br />iately. <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Redwood City at an <br />adjourned meeting thereof held on the 28th day of June, 1954 by the following <br />vote: <br />AYES and in favor of the passage and adoption of the foregoing resolution: <br />COUNCILMEN BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, JONES, SPILLERS, STOUT and HERKNER. <br />NOES: COUNCILMEN None. <br />ABSENT: COUNCILMEN None. <br />Mayor of the City of Redwood City <br />Attest: <br />Clerk of the City of nedwood City <br />I hereby approve the foregoing resolution <br />this 2nd day of July, 1954 * <br />Mayor of the City of nedwood City <br />
