RESOLUTION IN 0. 1758 <br />GRANTING VARIANCE TO E. A. MUELLER TO <br />ALLOW SEVEN FEET (7') BETWEEN HOUSE AND <br />GARAGE AT 2520 JEFFERSON AVENUE, LOT <br />13, BLOCK 7, NEW HIGH SCHOOL ACRES. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of Redwood City has sub- <br />mitted the application of E. A. MUELLER for variance with <br />the recommendation that such application be granted, and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Redwood City has considered <br />the said application for variance in accordance with Section <br />20 of Ordinance No. 600, said ordinance being the zoning <br />ordinance of the City of Redwood City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF RED1400D CITY HEREBY <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Said Council finds the following conditions exist: <br />(a) That there are exceptional or extraordinary <br />circumstances which apply to the land, <br />building or use referred to in the applica- <br />tion, which circumstances or conditions do <br />not generally apply to land, buildings or <br />uses in the same district. <br />(b) That the granting of the application is neces- <br />sary for the preservation'and enjoyment of <br />substantial property rights of the petitioner. <br />( c ) That the granting of such application will <br />not materially affect adversely neighboring <br />property, or the public welfare, or the <br />health or safety of persons residing or work- <br />ing in the neighborhood. <br />2. Said Council hereby grants to E. A. MUELLER a <br />variance to allow construction of a one -room addition to the <br />rear of the existing residence at 2520 Jefferson Avenua, being <br />Lot 13, Block 7, New High School Acres, so that said addition <br />may be seven feet (7 from the existing garage on the premises <br />subject to the condition that construction will be carried <br />out in strict accordance with the plan heretofore submitted <br />to the Planning Commission and Council of Redwood City. <br />
