RESOLU T I0N N O. 1812 <br />GRAIIITIIIG V�RI.AWCE TO RIjHARD SJOBERG <br />TO A..L LOW REDUC T I - ON I N LOT SIZE. <br />IIIIF1.EREA.S, the Planning Commission of Redwood City has sub- <br />mitted the application of RICHARD SJOBERG for variance with <br />the r.ectomiendation that such application 'be granted; and <br />,`MEREA S, the Council of Redwood City has considered said <br />application for variance in accordance with Section 20 of <br />Ordinance No. 600, said ordinance being the zoning ordinance <br />of the City of Redwood City; <br />NOW1 �?'HFREFOR.T, THE COUNCIL OF RED� CITY T_-�E`i�IBY RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS <br />1. Said Council finds that the following conditions exist: <br />a) That there are exceptional or extraordinary <br />circumstances which apply to the land, build- <br />ing or use referred to in the application, <br />which circumstances or conditions do not <br />generally apply to lands, build ngs, or uses <br />in the same district. <br />b) That the granting of the application is <br />necessary for the preservation and enjoyment <br />of substantial property rights of the <br />petitioner. <br />c) That the granting of such application will <br />riot materially affect adversely neighboring <br />property or the public welfare or the health <br />or safety of persons residing or working in <br />the neighborhood. <br />2. Said Council hereby grants to RICHARD SJOBERG a variance <br />to allow construction of eight (8) apartments on seventy -seven <br />hundred (7,700) square feet of property on the easterly one -half <br />of Lot 4, Block 3, Sweenyf s Addition, on condition that con- <br />struction shall be strictly in accordance with the map hereto- <br />fore submitted to the Planning Commission and Council of <br />Redwood City and approved by it, and upon the further condition <br />that all drive -way entrances shall comply with the requirements <br />of the City Engineer of Redwood City. <br />
