<br />B.FLAP GATE I DRAINAGE GATE, MATERIALS, REPLACEMENT, REPAIR, AND <br />INSTALLATION <br /> <br />1. Repairs, Replacements, Installation and materials will be to Redwood City Standards. <br />(Listed below) <br /> <br />. All gates will be cast iron. <br />. All bushings and seats must be bronze. <br />. All assembly and all hardware will be 316 stainless steel. <br />. All nuts, bolts and washers will be 316 stainless steel. <br />. All hinge arms will be stainless steel. <br />. All gates and cast iron parts will be fusion epoxy coated. <br /> <br />2. New installations will include removing existing gate( s) and installing new gate( s). Only <br />stainless steel wedge anchors will be used. Concrete or grout used will be approved <br />. by Redwood City. <br /> <br />3. Contractor will use Waterman Manufactured Products exclusively. There will be no <br />su bstitutes. <br /> <br />4. Redwood City will require all replaced parts to be given to Redwood City. <br /> <br />5. There will be no substitutions without the absolute written permission from Redwood <br />City. <br /> <br />6. Contr~ctor is responsible for any and all environmental approvals and or permits <br />required from any and all regulatory agencies and prepare appropriate applications <br />and documents for Redwood City submittal. <br /> <br />7. Contractor will be responsible for all construction related to work on gates. <br /> <br />8. All replacement parts will be to Redwood City Standard (explained above) <br /> <br />9. Contractor will provide Redwood City with an inspection report directly after gate <br />removal. <br /> <br />10.
