Utilities Committee Accomplishments - Report by Vice Mayor Aguirre. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Aguirre thanked staff, specifically naming Larry Barwacz, and Russell Nahara, <br />as well as her Council colleagues who serve on this body. She said she was most proud of <br />the matrix. Council Member Foust thanked Chair Aguirre and staff for their commitment <br />and professionalism and said that is a great reflection on the Public Works Department. It <br />was suggested that the public be given web access to the existing weather station. <br /> <br />C. Council Reports on Committee Meetings Attended. <br /> <br />1. Council Member Bain <br />2. Council Member Foust <br />3. Council Member Gee - He attended the Economic Roundtable this morning <br />and he appreciated the information. He walked away with the realization that <br />things will not get better. <br />4. Council Member Pierce - She attended a High Speed Rail teleconference <br />update today on their new business plan. She also announced that the U.S. <br />Department of Transportation announced a first round of funds which will <br />become available. <br />5. Council Member Seybert <br />6. Mayor Ira - He acknowledged that this is the last Council meeting of the year <br />and said that the Council wishes everyone Happy Holidays and a very happy <br />New Year. <br /> <br />10.
