_I- vo El ' <br />0 <br />OFFICE OF <br />THE CITY MANAGER <br />REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA <br />April 14, 1955 <br />Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />Redwood City, California <br />Gentlemen: <br />It has been called to my attention that as of <br />March 31, 1955, the shop has expended its entire <br />appropriation for Supplies and Services. The City <br />Engineer reports that this is apparently due to the <br />fact that the cost of electric power and gas used <br />by this department was underestimated. He further <br />estimates that the sum of $475 will be needed to <br />operate the shop for the balance of this fiscal year. <br />It is therefore my recommendation that the sum <br />of $475 be transferred from the Unbudgeted Reserve <br />to the Shop Supplies and Services, account No. 424.2. <br />Respectfully, <br />E.A.
