If City cannot provide a representative within 2 hours, CCSF shall solely make the assessment and direct Contractor to perform the work. • If City Engineer determines that pipes at a street - crossing location within the right -of -way are in poor condition, replace up to a 20 -foot section of pipe at that location within the right -of -way with new PVC pipe. If City requests in writing that more that 20 feet of pipe be replaced at that location and within the right -of -way, CCSF's Contractor will perform such work, provided that all costs of or attributable to such additional work will be payable directly by City to Contractor.
