The former Rancho Cucamonga city council member was recognized by the <br />League in 2006 as Legislator of the Year. In 2007, the League honored him for his efforts <br />on local streets and roads funding. <br />. Assembly Member Fiona Ma (D-San Francisco) who is an alumna of the League's <br />California Civic Leadership Institute and former San Francisco Supervisor. <br />. Assembly Member Connie Conway (R-Visalia) who prior to being elected to the <br />legislature served on the Tulare County Board of Supervisors. <br />. Assembly Member Eng (D-Monterey Park) who came to the Assembly after serving as <br />mayor and council member in Monterey Park. <br />. Assembly Member Ted Lieu (D-Torrance) who is former member of the Torrance City <br />Council. <br />.
