The non-profit agencies funded through HSFA are an important part of our <br />non-profit sector, which provide employment to a significant number of <br />local residents thereby contributing to the vitality of our local economy. <br />. HSFA funded programs like the International Institute's Immigration and <br />Citizenship assistance and the Legal Aid Society's eviction prevention <br />program help Redwood City residents survive by making it possible to <br />stabilize their living situations and legal status in order to be able to <br />continue to be active members of our local workforce. <br />. HSFA funded programs help to support economic growth in our <br />community by helping to provide for and maintain a diverse workforce able <br />to work and live in our community. <br /> <br />2 <br />
