<br />Memorandum of Understanding <br />West Bay Information Sharing System (WBISS) <br />WEST BAY REGION NODE <br /> <br />C) I .iJh <br />This Nlemorandum of Understanding ("MOU") is made and entered into on this ~ day <br />Ofl1;cilfl1bet-2009 by and between the parties below and all future signers of this agreement, <br />known collectively as "Member Agencies" or individually as a "Member Agency." <br /> <br />The following Member Agencies hereby create the West Bay Information Sharing System <br />(WBISS) WEST BAY REGION NODE (Node): The following agencies are collectively <br />known as the "Original Member Agencies." <br /> <br />· Atherton Police Department <br />· Belmont Police Department <br />· Brisbane Police Department <br />· Broadmoor Police Department <br />· Burlingallle Police Departlllent <br />· Cohna Police Departlllent <br />· Daly City Police Department <br />· East Palo Alto Police Departlnent <br />· F oster City Police Departlnent <br />· Half Moon Bay Police Departlnent <br />· Hillsborough Police Department <br />. Menlo Park Police Department <br /> <br />· Millbrae Police Department <br />· Pacifica Police Department <br />· Redwood City Police Department <br />· San Bruno Police Department <br />· San Carlos Police Departlnent <br />· San Francisco Police Departlnent <br />· San Mateo Police Departlnent <br />· San Mateo County Sheriffs Office <br />· San Francisco County Sheriff's Office <br />· South San Francisco Police <br /> <br />Purpose <br /> <br />Member Agencies shall work cooperatively to establish an integrated system of <br />information technology that maximizes the sharing of data and communication <br />between the Member Agencies while maintaining the confidentiality of privileged or <br />otherwise protected information shared through the system. This regional law <br />enforcement information-sharing system shall be known as the WBISS West Bay <br />Region Node. The Member Agencies shall work cooperatively in a variety of ways <br />to facilitate sharing data in an effort to improve the information sharing efforts of <br />their respective Agency and Node. The purpose of this agreement is to define the <br />working relationships, and lines of authority for Member Agencies in the WBISS <br />West Bay Region Node. <br />San Mateo County Police Chiefs and Sheriff and San Francisco Police Chief and <br />Sheriff, through a grant from the Office of Homeland Security, have indicated the <br />Cities, Counties, and other Agencies within San Mateo and San Francisco Counties, <br /> <br />WEISS West Bay Region Node MOUAgreement <br /> <br />Page 1 of 48 <br />
