07/09/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14276 <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THE RULES AND <br />REGULATIONS OF THE REDWOOD CITY WATER <br />DEPARTMENT (PUBLIC WORKS SERVICES DEPARTMENT) <br />RELATING TO WATER RATES; AND RESCINDING <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13980 <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Section 3 of the Rules and Regulations for the Redwood City Water <br />Department (Public Works Services Department), approved December 1947, as <br />amended to date, is hereby further amended to read as follows: <br />"Section 3. (a) Water Service Areas. For the purpose of this <br />section, the following water service areas are established, and all <br />premises served by the water system owned and operated by the City of <br />Redwood City shall be located in such areas: <br />"(1) Area 1: All premises located within the City of Redwood City <br />and not located within Areas 3, 5, or 6 shall be included in <br />Area 1. <br />"(2) Area 2: All premises located outside the City of Redwood <br />City and not located within Areas 4, 5, or 6 shall be included <br />in Area 2. <br />"(3) Area 3: All premises located within Redwood General <br />Improvement District No. 1 -64, a general improvement <br />district duly organized and existing under the Redwood City <br />General Improvement District Ordinance (being Ordinance <br />No. 1128, adopted March 9, 1964, as amended), and all <br />territory annexed to said district shall be included in Area 3. <br />"(4) Area 4: All premises located outside the City of Redwood <br />City and requiring extra pumping service to provide water <br />service thereto shall be included in Area 4. <br />Reso -1195 1 <br />F:shVsh- Redwood /Council <br />DES:rg <br />06/28/01 <br />
