CITY OF

REDWOOD CITY

SAN MATEO COUNTY
CALIFORNIA

July 26, 1956

CITY ATTORNEY
CUTHBERT B. CURRIE

ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY
CHESTER W. LEBSACK

Council of Redwood City
City Hall
Redwood City, California

Re: Rudeco Agreement (Granny Goose Foods)

Gentlemen:

At the last meeting of the Council, this office
was directed to prepare a resolution abandoning the
prohibition as to use of a 10 ft. strip adjaoent to an
alley to the rear of the Granny Goose property on Bayshore
Highway in Belhaven Subdivision in Redwood City. An in-
spection of the original agreement which was recorded
discloses that the City originally required the property
owner to maintain a 15 ft. area clear rather than the 10
ft. referred to in the Council action at its July 23, 1956
meeting. Therefore, before we can prepare any resolution,
it will be necessary that it be determined finally as to
whether the entire agreement is to be abandoned or whether
only 10 ft. of the 15 ft. be abandoned. This determination
must necessarily be made by the Council.

~ru~

CWL:tw
