<br />~- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />NO. 2100 <br /> <br />COMMENDING NURSERYMEN AND FLOWER GROWERS <br />OP REDWOOD CITY AND SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the <br /> <br />Council of Redwood City that the nurserymen and flower <br /> <br />growers of Redwood City' and San Mateo County provided ex- <br /> <br />ceptional and outstanding representation to this area in <br /> <br />the Sacramento state Fair Floricultural Display by receiv- <br /> <br />ing 12 first prize awards and 4 second place awards and <br /> <br />by receiving a total of 73 award points out of a possible <br />1.53 points, and <br /> <br />lNHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council that the following nurserymen and flower growers <br />of this area be especially commended for their particular <br /> <br />winning efforts in connection with said display: <br /> <br />Enomoto Nursery <br />Sequoia Nursery <br />Woodside Nursery <br />Peninsula Begonia Gardens <br />J. Makano Nursery <br /> <br />George Tsukushi <br />Y. Mari <br />California Floral <br />L. Ramaciotti <br />Jim Knecht <br /> <br />Co. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY: <br /> <br />That the nurserymen and flower growers of Redwood <br /> <br />City and the County of San Mateo are hereby commended for <br /> <br />the outstanding representation provided this area in the <br /> <br />Floricultural Display of the California State Fair at <br />Sacramento for the year 1956; and, <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that the above mentioned <br /> <br />nurserymen and flower growers are hereby particularly <br /> <br />commended for their outstanding winning efforts in re- <br /> <br />ceiving the awards hereinabove referred to. <br />
