<br />6.3C <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC <br />RETIREMENT SYSTEM FOR THE EMPLOYEE'S RETIREE BENEFIT <br />TRUST PROGRAM (CERBT) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to establish a trust for retire medical benefits; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Cal PERS, the City's retirement system, has a trust program to, <br />among other things, receive and invest contributions made to fund retiree benefits; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is in the City's interest to participate in the Cal PERS trust. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1.
