Public Allies San Francisco 1550 Bryant Street, San Francisco CA 94103 Phone: 415.860.0116 Fax: 415.552.4729 MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING 2009-2010 This Memorandum of Understanding outlines the financial agreement between Public Allies San Francisco/Silicon Vallev and City of Redwood City / Fair Oaks Community Center. This MOU is an addendum to the complete contract; a copy is attached to this document. City of Redwood City/Fair Oaks Community Center agrees to: . Pay their portion of the Ally'sj AmeriCorps member's living stipend in three separate payments of $9,251.33 payable to Public Allies Silicon Valley on October 1, 2009, December 1, 2009 and March 1, 2010. The total amount for the ten months is $27,754. . Provide a person to serve as a direct supervisor to the Alliesj AmeriCorps members. . Provide the supplies and resources necessary to carry out their duties; e.g. desk, phone and appropriate training and office supplies. . Complete evaluations - mid year and year end, as well as participate in Supervisor Focus Group. Public Allies San Francisco/Silicon Valley agrees to: . Pay the AlliesjAmeriCorps members in twice monthly checks of $750.00 over the ten months. . Record hours served. . Provide health care and child care coverage. . Provide an educational stipend of $4,725.00 to the each member upon satisfactory completion of the program. . Provide a Program Manger, who will provide support to both the Partner Organization and the AllyjAmeriCorps member. Both agencies will be responsible for: . Training and supporting the Alliesj AmeriCorps members. Protocol to address issues when MOU / Operational Agreements are not being met: If any issues arise or if MOUjOperational Agreements are not being met, a meeting of representatives from both agencies will be called to discuss the issues. We, the undersigned, as authorized representatives of Public Allies San Francisco/Silicon Vallev and City of Redwood City / Fair Oaks Community Center hereby approve this document.
