<br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and of the recitals, <br />representations and warranties set forth below and upon the terms and conditions <br />contained in this Agreement, the Parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />I. Duties and Responsibilities of the Parties. <br />A. Duties and Responsibilities of Public Allies San Francisco/Silicon <br /> <br />Vallev. <br /> <br />Public Allies San Francisco/Silicon Valley shall: <br /> <br />i. Use its best efforts to recruit and select Allies for the <br />Program, and to provide information regarding certain Allies to Partner Organization in <br />sufficient detail to permit Partner Organization to evaluate their suitability for the <br />Position; <br /> <br />ii. Work with Partner Organization on training an Ally applicable <br />to the Position, and use its best efforts to train Ally both during the initial 8-day core <br />training Program in teambuilding and during four full days (all of which will be a regular <br />business day) of every month of the Term of the selected areas; and <br /> <br />iii. Pay each Ally a stipend of not less than $15.000.00 gross for <br />first year Allies and not less than $17.000.00 gross for Second Year Allies during the <br />Term of the Program in the form of semimonthly payroll checks paid directly to the Ally. <br />The regular paid stipend amount should remain constant unless an extension of the <br />agreed upon member term becomes necessary in which case the regular paid stipend <br />amount should be reduced such that the gross stipend amount above is not exceeded. <br />In addition to this amount, Public Allies San Francisco/Silicon Valley will cover the Ally <br />with either worker's compensation insurance or liability insurance coverage (including <br />accidental death and dismemberment coverage), and pay unemployment insurance and <br />FICA taxes on the stipend as applicable under State and/or Federal law. This stipend <br />payment shall include Partner Organization's contribution as outlined in Section I(B)(i); <br /> <br />IV. <br />Ally's start date; and <br /> <br />Live Scan fingerprint (DOJ and FBI) each Ally prior to the <br /> <br />v. Provide Allies with heath care benefits under the approved <br />AmeriCorps sponsored health plan. <br /> <br />B. Duties and Responsibilities of Partner OrQanization. <br /> <br />Partner Organization shall: <br /> <br />i. Pay the following to Public Allies San Francisco/Silicon <br />Valley: (a) a contribution of $15,777.00 per Ally in the position of Human Services <br />Specialist I and $11,977.00 per Ally in Housing Assistance Case Management <br />Specialist I. <br /> <br />Public Allies Partner Organization Agreement 2009-2010 <br /> <br />2 <br />
