<br />2. That said property is suitable, adaptable, necessary <br />and required for the public use of the said City of Redwood City, <br />to wit, for the purpose of extending Marshall street between <br />Main street and Jefferson Avenue, for the construction of public <br />parking facilities in an area bounded by Main street, Middlefield <br />Road, Jefferson Avenue and Bradford Street, for the construction <br />and installation of storm drainage facilities in an area bounded <br />by Main Street, Middlefield Road, Jefferson Avenue and Bayshore <br />Highway and for the purpose of widening Bradford street between <br />Jefferson Avenue and Main street, and that a fee 'ownership in all <br />of the above described property is necessary for the afore- <br />mentioned purposes. <br />3. That Currie, Lebsack & Hannig of the City of Redwood <br />City are hereby designated as special attorneys for the City of <br />Redwood City for the purpose of acquiring the above described <br />property and are hereby ordered and directed to commence pro- <br />ceedings in eminent domain against the owners of said parcels <br />of land and in any or all interest therein or claims thereto, for <br />the condemnation thereof for the public use of the City of Redwood <br />City as aforesaid and to obtain immediate possession and use of <br />said property. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Passed and adopted by the Council of Redwood City at a <br /> <br />re~ular <br />November <br /> <br />meeting thereof, held on the l~th day of <br />J 19561 by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES, and in favor of the passage and adoption of the fore- <br /> <br />going resolution, Councilmen: BRITSCHGI, GRANGER, HERKNER, <br />SPILLERS, STOUT and WEISS <br /> <br />NOES, Councilmen: NONE <br /> <br />ABSENT, Councilmen: ROYER '-_ _ /:.
