Onsite we <br />have one TV van and one Vac truck. Both trucks are equipped with state of the art tools and equipm"ent <br />because we believe in having the right tool for the job. Boith trucks are 2007 editions so all equipment Is <br />new and meets or exceeds all specifications necessary. We will have two members of our team per <br />truck, an operator and a laborer. The laborer that wo~ks \With the van truck will be required to drive a <br />water truck that will act as a supply truck for the van truck so that the cleaning and TV operatJon can <br />work without interruption. <br /> <br />To start, our Foreman will hold a tailgate safety meeting in which he will discuss the operations <br />and plan for the day. He will also outUne all possible dangers and special circumstances. We anticipate <br />the foreman will be onslte for the full duration of the job, minimum 40 hrs per week. The foreman will <br />act as supervision and will communication with the agency' and pubIJc as well. Also on site will be a <br />traffic control crew. Traffic control wiJI be on an as needed basIs. For example, on minor residential <br />streets with low traffic proper signage w1lJ be in place in oroder to alert the public of upcoming workers in <br />the roadway. If lane closures are necessary we will have pil"oper signage with arrow boards and cones <br />and traffic control plans In place. If it is necessary to access backyards and easements we can also place <br />door hangers with proper phone numbers to schedule cleaning and tv operations to minimize the <br />impact on residents. <br /> <br />Cleaning operations will begin with the Vac truck fining with water and pulling to the proper <br />manhole once the site is ready and as directed by the foreman. The water truck will pull in behind him <br />or park in a designated parking space, which ever is more safe. Vac truck will then commence cleaning <br />using the proper nozzles based on pipe size and debris. Once adequate cleaning has taken place the tv <br />truck will enter the upstream manhole and begin inspection. If any debris Is left in the fine the Vac truck <br />will be notified and the tv truck will pause the recording as the debris Is removed. All tv operators for <br />Nor Cal are PACP certified and are capable of all required Import, export and reporting necessities of the <br />agency. We also currently own Win Can software so our operators are well versed in the same software <br />that the agency has so as to make compatibility easier. . <br /> <br />Nor eal has done assorted jobs through out the sta'te and has over 100 years experience as a <br />staff we believe that we can successfully complete any project requested of us. All of our camera <br />equipment Is state of the art and was purchased within the last 2 years brand new. This insures <br />that you will have best picture quality and best equipment on the market at the time of the <br />project. All personnel on staff are PACP certified by the local NASSCO representative (Marilyn <br />Sheppard) who performs the classes and testing at out" offices.
