KorTech understands and supports the goal of converting all of WAP to .Net over time. <br />KorTech also understands that the City desires no duplication of the Utility Billing System rules in <br />WAP (i.e. bill calculation); but instead, WAP will extract data from UBS or call UBS functions <br />written by Redwood City staff and display that data for its users. <br /> <br />Proprietary Rights <br /> <br />I hereby assign to Redwood City all my right, title and interest in and to any and all Inventions and <br />Proprietary Rights with respect thereto, whether or not patentable or registrable under copyright or <br />similar statutes, made or conceived or reduced to practice or learned by me, either alone or jointly <br />with others, during the period of my employment with Redwood City which are related to or useful <br />in the business of Redwood City or result from tasks assigned to me by Redwood City. This shall <br />include trade secrets, confidential knowledge, data or any other proprietary information of <br />Redwood City. By way of illustration, but not limitation, this includes: trade secrets, inventions, <br />mask works, ideas, processes, formulas, source and object codes, data, programs, other works <br />of authorship, know-how, improvements, discoveries, developments, designs and techniques, <br />information regarding plans for research, development, new products, marketing and selling. <br /> <br />Costs <br /> <br />KorTech will bill for actual time worked. The rate for Bill's work is $150/hr, meaning a maximum <br />labor fee of $162,000. No other fees will be assessed. <br /> <br />KorTech Consulting, Inc. <br /> <br />KorTech is a California corporation founded in 1998. Its clients include Lockheed Martin, City of <br />Redwood City, MMBS Inc., and Palo Alto Medical Foundation.
