Participation in this type of effort <br /> will ailow Redwood Gty ta offer property owners financing for energy e�ciency retrofits,solar <br /> phatovoltaic and renewable energy systems.Partnering on a regional program significantly <br /> reduces the costs associated with the development and impiementation of this type of program. <br /> Public education,combined with financing will provide local residents and businesses with the <br /> tools they neecf to weatherize and retrofit their buildings for irnproved energy efficiency.It will <br /> be the responsibility of the community Ca take advantage of these pragrams and opportunities. <br /> It is recognized that improving energy efficiency in the built environment requires an <br /> investment in the local econamy.These investments w911 also generate local jobs as the demand <br /> for home energy services increases. <br />
