07/09/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1497? <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />STREET LIGHT AND TRAFFIC SIGNAL PARTS AND <br />MATERIALS AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE <br />DOCUMENTS THEREFOR <br />WHEREAS, written bids pursuant to public advertisement were solicited <br />for the purchase of street light and traffic signal parts and materials for the <br />Department of Public Works Services in the City of Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, two bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Consolidated Electrical Distributors of Redwood City, <br />California is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br />this Council to accept the bid of Consolidated Electrical Distributors; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Consolidated Electrical Distributors for the purchase of <br />street light and traffic signal parts and materials for the City of Redwood City, in <br />the amount of Thirty -two Thousand One Hundred Thirty -two and 80/100 Dollars <br />($32,132.80) in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated June 13, 2001, is <br />hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder in response to solicitation for bids pursuant to advertisement <br />for said supplies and materials. <br />Reso -1193 1 <br />DES:A <br />F: /Shared /Redwood /Council <br />06/26/01 <br />
