Increase minimum monthly residential Basic Service Charge from $44.70 to $48.72 effective <br />July 1, 2010, and from $48,72 to $53.10 effective July 1, 2011. <br /> <br />Commercial Sewer Customers <br />Commercial sewer rates vary by customer class, or type of business, as shown below. Charges are <br />calculated by multiplying each customer's rate by their metered water use during the billing period. <br />Commercial customers pay a minimum monthly charge equal to the residential Basic Service Charge. <br />The proposed increases are as follows: <br /> <br />. Increase minimum monthly commercial Basic Service Charge, all user categories, from $44.70 <br />to $48.72 effective July 1, 2010, and from $48.72 to $53.10 effective July 1,2011. <br /> <br />. At the public hearing, <br />the City Council will also consider public comments, as well as any written protests against the <br />proposed rate increases. If you wish to file a written protest. please send a letter or post card addressed <br />to: Water (or Sewer) Rate Protest, 1400 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063. Your letter must <br />identify the property you own by County Assessor's Parcel Number (APN), show the name(s) <br />of the owner(s) of the property, and must be signed by at least one owner of record. Only one <br />protest will be counted per parcel. The letter or postcard must be received by the City by April 12, <br />2010.
