<br />6.2A <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REWOOD CITY <br />APPROVING THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FEE UNDER THE <br />PUBLIC RECORDS ACT. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Public Records Act allows for recovery of costs incurred to <br />reproduce and deliver the record to the requestor when the records require data <br />compilation, extraction, or programming and are not already being produced in the <br />format requested; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the hourly cost (salary plus benefits) of a senior Information <br />Technology Analyst, typically required to satisfy requests, is $73.59 for fiscal year 2009- <br />2010 and $74.22 for the fiscal year 2010-2011 ; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. $73.59 is the approved hourly rate to be applied when satisfying a public <br />records request for the fiscal year 2009-2010. <br /> <br />2. $74.22 is the approved hourly rate to be applied when satisfying a public <br />records request for the fiscal year 2010-2011. <br /> <br />A TTY IRESO/RESO.1995 <br />031610 <br /> <br />1 <br />
