! � <br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br /> CONSULTANT'S SCOPE OF WORK FOR WALKING SCHOOL BUS PROJECT <br /> The consulant will provide the following scope of services to support Safe Routes to <br /> School Program (walking and biking) in the Redwood City School District ending June <br /> 30, 2012. <br /> 1. Conduct meetings with decision makers at the District, County, City and Stanford <br /> Univeristy Urban Studies students <br /> 2. Meet with assigned County and School staff to deisgn lhe best route(s) for a <br /> walking bus for the schools selected <br /> 3. Determine in concert with School and County staff the necessary improvements <br /> (temporary and permanent) for the route to become operational have been <br /> implemented <br /> 4. Work with Schools to involve the parents and to identify volunteers (and/or if <br /> crossing guards need to be redeployed) that will be integral to the walking bus <br /> 5. Establish in concert with Redwood City 2020, the County, City and School <br /> District metrics to evaluate the success of the pilot walking bus pilot <br /> 6. Memorialize the process used in making the walking bus operational in order that <br /> it can be applied to other schools within the School District <br /> METHOD OF PAYMENT <br /> Hourly Rate of $100.00 <br /> Amendment #3 not to exceed $7,500.00 (including out of pocket expenses not to <br /> exceed $1,200.00) <br /> Consultant will provide detailed invoices, with evidence of progress in achieving defined <br /> deliverables when requesting payment, <br /> Invoices may be submitted on a monthly basis to Redwood City 2020. <br /> 3 <br />
