The medium and long term housing needs are for <br />transitional housing and permanent supportive housing. At the root of homelessness is a lack of <br />affordable housing. Human Services <br /> <br />Priority Needs: High priority services needs are for healthcare, information and referral (to <br />existing services), mental health services, food programs, ombudsman services, transportation, <br />and legal aid services including eviction defense. Moderate priority needs are for fair housing, <br />substance abuse treatment, chi/dcare, employment, crisis intervention, case management and <br />emergency shelter (non-homeless).
