07/09/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14267 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE <br />REDWOOD SHORES LEVEE SEGMENT III IMPROVEMENTS <br />PROJECT <br />(CCS PLANNING AND ENGINEERING, INC.) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires the improvements of flood <br />protection systems at the Redwood Shores area near the South Bayside System <br />Authority facility in the City of Redwood City (the "Project "); and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />consulting engineering services; and <br />WHEREAS, CCS Planning and Engineering, Inc. of San Ramon, <br />California, represents that it possesses the experience, and is qualified to <br />perform the aforesaid services required for the Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement - Professional Consulting <br />Engineering Services — Redwood Shores Levee Segment III Improvements <br />Project" (form dated 06/25/01), by and between the City of Redwood City, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, and CCS Planning and <br />Engineering, Inc., for the performance of the above - mentioned services, a copy <br />Reso -1190 1 <br />DES:rg <br />F:JShared /Redwood /Council <br />oei?sro1 <br />
