MINUTE ORDER <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> May 22, 1996 <br /> <br /> MO. 96-111 <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: May 24, 1996 <br /> <br />Attention: City Manager <br /> City Attorney <br /> Council <br /> Community Development Director <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Broadway Sidewalk Design (209) <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on May 22, 1996 <br /> <br />Present: Counddmembers Buchan, Claire, Howard, La Berge, Leipzig, Ruskin <br /> and Mayor Hartnett <br /> <br />Absent: None <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> MIS: LEIPZIG/LA BERGE TO APPROVE THE COUNCIL STREETS <br /> COMMI'ITEE RECOMMENDATION AS SUBMITTED BY COUNCILMAN/ <br /> CHAIRMAN RUSKIN: "The blocks already partially paved with interlocking <br /> pavers will be completed with the same interlocking pavers except that the <br /> design will be minimally presented: In those blocks without planters a spotted <br /> pattern will be introduced; in those blocks with planters, in addition to the <br /> spotted pattern, light pavers will unify the planter areas. Those blocks without <br /> interlocking pavers will be repaved with newer interlocking pavers in a new <br /> design complementing the design on the other blocks. In all blocks there will be <br /> a narrower concrete band around the planters and tree grates and a wide <br /> concrete edging along building frontage." <br /> <br /> CARRIED BY UNANIMOUS VOICE VOTE. <br />Mlyn C. ~ <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
