<br />-~ <br /> <br />-, <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />CGM:mf 11/18/80 <br /> <br />." <br /> <br />NOV 24 1980 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />8749 <br /> <br />OR1Glr~AL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING WEEDS, RUBBISH, DIRT, AND <br />RANK GROW~HS TO BE A NUISANCE; AND SETTING PUBLIC <br />HEARING FOR DECEMBER 15, 1980 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That this Council, upon evidence presented by the City <br /> <br />Manager, has determined that weeds, rubbish, dirt and rank growths <br /> <br />do exist upon private property within those certain areas of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City delineated upon "Exhibit A," attached hereto <br /> <br />and by this reference incorporated herein, and in and upon the <br /> <br />sidewalks, parkways, streets, avenues, roadways, boulevards, <br /> <br />highways and alleys likewise delineated and situated within the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />2. That this Council does hereby (a) declare such weeds, <br /> <br />rubbish, dirt and rank. growths to be a publi6 nuisance, (b) direct <br /> <br />that every property owner, lessee or occupant of buildings, grounds <br /> <br />or lots within aforesaid areas of the City of Redwood City shall <br /> <br />destroy or remove the same, and (c) declare that unless said nuisance <br /> <br />be abated without delay by the destruction or removal of such weeds, <br /> <br />rubbish, dirt and rank growths, the Council of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City shall cause said nuisance to be abated and shall cause the <br /> <br />expense of such abatement to be assessed upon the lots and lands <br /> <br />from which, and/or in front or rear of which, such weeds shall <br /> <br />have been destroyed or removed, in accordance with and in the <br /> <br />manner provided by Article IV (commencing at ~14.38) of Chapter 14 <br /> <br />of the Code of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />3. That the City Manager of the City of Redwood City is <br /> <br />hereby directed to give notice of the passage of this resolution <br />
