<br />,~ 0 0 <br /> DES:wb 11/7/80 <br /> ORIGINAL <br />R E S 0 L U T I 0 N N o. 8 7~ 0 <br /> NOV 1 0 1980 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION FOR ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY <br />TO REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64, <br />AND SETTING A TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC HEARING THEREON <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds and determines as follows: <br /> <br />a. A petition for the annexation of the hereinafter <br />described lands to Redwood City General Improvement <br />District No. 1-64, a general improvement district <br />established pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance <br />No. 1128 of the city of Redwood City, as amended, <br />has been received and is presently on file in the <br />office of the City Clerk. <br /> <br />b. Said petition has been signed by the owners of at <br />least fifty-one percent of the assessed value of <br />the lands proposed to be annexed, and the City <br />Clerk's certification as to the sufficiency of the <br />signatures to the petition has been made and filed <br />pursuant to the provisions of Section 1504 of <br />Ordinance No. 1128. <br /> <br />c. The lands which are proposed to be annexed are <br />situated in the City of Redwood City, County of <br />San Mateo, State of California, and are more <br />particularly described in Exhibit A hereof attached <br />hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />2. The lands proposed to be annexed to Redwood City General <br /> <br />Improvement District No. 1-64 shall, if annexed, be subject to <br /> <br />taxation for all Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64 <br /> <br />bonds presently outstanding or authorized. <br /> <br />3. Monday the 24th <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />November <br /> <br />, 1980, <br /> <br />at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m., or as soon thereafter as the <br /> <br />matter can be heard, in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, Hall <br /> <br />of Justice and Record,s, 401 Marshall Street, Redwood City, <br /> <br />California is fixed as the time and place where the Council will <br /> <br />consider the matter of annexing the hereinabove described lands ' <br />
