<br />{. ;. <br /> <br />,,~ <br /> <br />- i <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />CGM:mf <br /> <br />10/22/80 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />8726 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />NOV 3 1980 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING AN APPLICATION <br />TO THE PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION FOR A REIMBURSEMENT <br />FOR CITY FUNDS EXPENDED IN CONNECTION WITH THE <br />RECONSTRUCTION OF THE JEFFERSON AVENUE CROSSING (E-25.6) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the safety protection at the Jefferson Avenue <br /> <br />crossing (E-25.6) in Redwood City has. been upgraded in connection <br /> <br />with the reconstruction of such crossing from a #9 (flashing <br /> <br />lights with gate) to a #9-A (flashing lights with gate and <br /> <br />cantilever overhead lights); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve a request for <br /> <br />reimbursement in connection with the abovementioned construction <br /> <br />and authorizes the submittal of such request to the Public <br /> <br />utilities Commission; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That the request for reimbursement is hereby approved <br /> <br />and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute such request in <br /> <br />a form approved by the City Attorney for submittal to the <br /> <br />Public utilities Commission. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
