<br />.;. <br /> <br />...". <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />CG1'1: ks 9/24/80 <br /> <br />() <br /> <br />OCT 6 1980 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8708 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />INFLATABLE BOAT AND TRAILER AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR THE FURNISHING THEREOF <br /> <br />ffiIEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article VII of Chapter 2 <br /> <br />of the Redwood City Code, the City Manager has solicited bids for the <br /> <br />furnishing of an inflatable boat and trailer to be used for municipal <br /> <br />purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, United States Yacht Bureau, Redwood City, California <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment, <br /> <br />and it is the intention of this Council to award said bid to United <br /> <br />States Yacht Bureau; <br /> <br />NOvl, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of United States Yacht Bureau, in the total lump <br /> <br />sum amount of Seven Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-Two and 27/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($7,632.27) for the furnishing of an inflatable boat and trailer <br /> <br />in accordance with the bidder's proposal dated August 4, 1980, and <br /> <br />in accordance with the specifications therefore on file in the office <br /> <br />of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found <br /> <br />and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> <br />of said equipment. <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement with United States Yacht Bureau for the furnishing of <br /> <br />the abovementioned equipment in accordance with, and subject to, <br />
