<br />,. <br /> <br />o 0 <br /> <br />CGM:wb 10/3/80 <br /> <br />8706 <br /> <br />OR.IGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY-O~~~ED <br />PROPERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING SALE THEREOF OCT 6 198Q <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City is the owner of a certain <br /> <br />cutter-suction dredge; and <br /> <br />~~EREAS, this Council has received evidence that such property <br /> <br />is not needed for present or prospective municipal or public <br /> <br />purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />declare said property surplus and authorize its sale in accordance <br /> <br />with Section 3-1/2 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLO~vS: <br /> <br />1. That this Council hereby finds that the cutter-suction <br /> <br />dredge is not now needed for any municipal or public purposes and <br /> <br />will not be needed for any municipal or public purposes in the <br /> <br />future, and hereby declares said property to be surplus property. <br /> <br />2. That the City Clerk be and she is hereby authorized and <br /> <br />directed to advertise such surplus property for sale to the <br /> <br />general public in accordance with Section 3-1/2 of the Charter of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City. Said sale shall be conducted in <br /> <br />accordance with the bid documents and the following terms: <br /> <br />(a) Sealed bids, upon notice called therefore, shall <br /> <br />be received for said property until the date and time <br /> <br />fixed by the City Clerk and sent out in the notice of sale, <br /> <br />and, at the time and date fixed, City Manager shall open <br /> <br />the bids received pursuant to advertisement therefor, and <br /> <br />r:I""+-",,...-TY\';'t"\i'"\ +-h= h';rt'h=C+- 'hi":! ro,-.o;uo,.:! -fnr <::.::1;" nr{)npr+-v~ <br />
