The Redwood City Strategic General Plan's Historic Resources Element(HRE) <br /> contains no policies relevant to the proposed project site.All current HRE policies pertain to landmark <br /> districts and structures,none of which exist on the project site or vicinity. <br /> The Project is confined within and defined by open water aquatic habitat. The landside of the site and <br /> immediate surrounding area are composed of bay fill and landfill materials that typically do not preserve <br /> paleontological resources.No project activities that would involve land disturbance are proposed. <br /> Implementation of the project would not directly or indirectly destroy a unique paleontological resource <br /> or unique geologic feature at the project. <br /> The project is confined within and defined by open water aquatic habitat.No earth excavation is <br /> required to construct the project.
