("Cumulatively considerable"means that the 0 ❑ <br /> incremental effects of a project are considerable when viewed in connection El <br /> with the effects of past projects,the effects of other current projects,and the <br /> effects of probable future projects?) , <br /> (c) Does the project have environmental effects which will cause substantial o ��� ❑ <br /> adverse effects on human beings,either directly or indirectly? <br /> Impact Analysis: <br /> a) The proposed Mult-Agency Maritime Facility construction and operation would not adversely affect the <br /> habitat of fish or wildlife and will not significantly degrade the quality of the aquatic environment.All less- <br /> than-significant impacts would be short-term,temporary,and minor.The project construction would occur <br /> during the established regulatory construction"windows"implemented throughout San Francisco Bay to <br /> avoid or minimize impacts to marine and aquatic special-status species.The project would not have an <br /> impact on known cultural,historical or prehistoric maritime resources. <br /> b) No significant cumulative impacts are identified as a result of Project construction or operation.The <br /> proposed Project is consisted with the existing maritime uses of the Multi-Agency Maritime Facility. <br /> c) The project's"less-than-significant"environmental effects would be short-term,temporary and minor, <br /> occurring only during project construction.The proposed renovation of the Multi-Agency Maritime Facility <br /> is required for Port of Redwood City vessels and public agencies that include mutual aid partners such as the <br /> Redwood City Police Department,Redwood City Fire Department,San Mateo County Sheriff,United <br /> States Coast Guard,and the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.The structure serves as the South Bay's <br /> primary waterside law enforcement facility for security and emergency-response operations.The project <br /> would not cause substantial adverse effects on human beings. <br /> Port of Redwood City Multi-Agency Maritime Facility 45 February 2010 <br /> Initial Study <br />
