During the <br /> preliminary design and public presentation process the projects, particularly Maddux Park, , <br /> grew into significant renovations that expanded beyond the confines of the original sand <br /> • <br /> elements. As the project progressed, due to the budget crisis and layoffs, we have been <br /> asked to coordinate with a total of three different project managers. During the review <br /> process members from Engineering, Parks and Recreation and Maintenance provided <br /> additional input at several meetings at City Hall. The original schedule was to have these <br /> projects out to bid by February of this year. We are as of today, still finalizing the drawing <br /> and specifications. The additional public meetings and the resulting additions to the <br /> projects, coupled with changing project management priorities, have all created additional <br /> work hours for our staff. <br /> Additional Services Fee Breakdown: <br /> 1. Additional Public Meetings. (3 hrs@ $140 +3hrs@ $100) $700.00 <br /> 2. Planting and Irrig. Plans - Specs. (2 hrs@ $140 +4 hrs @ $100) $680.00 <br /> 3. Misc. Plan Revisions, (fencing /gates, drainage, play surfacing, <br /> Play structures), (4 hrs @ $140 +12 hrs @ $100) $1,760.00 <br /> 4.
