WHEREAS, until the City and Mid - Peninsula Housing Coalition, an <br />affiliate of Mid - Peninsula Housing Management Corporation, desire to enter into <br />an Exclusive Negotiation Agreement ( "ENA ") to allow the parties sufficient time <br />to negotiate mutually agreeable terms and conditions of the PSA; and <br />WHEREAS, the City shall not be obligated to convey the property to Mid- <br />Peninsula Housing Coalition until the City Council has held a public hearing and <br />approved the PSA; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to award this bid <br />to Contractor and to approve said PMA with Mid - Peninsula and the ENA with <br />Mid - Peninsula Housing Coalition and authorize their execution. <br />NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That this Bid to provide property management and resident <br />services for very-low and low income households at 1306 Main Street, Redwood <br />City, CA be awarded to Mid - Peninsula Housing Management Corporation. <br />2. That the agreement entitled, "Agreement for Professional Services <br />1306 Main Street Property Management," by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and Mid - Peninsula Housing Management Corporation, a copy of which <br />agreement is on file and made available in the City Clerk's Office, to which copy <br />reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the <br />City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute, and <br />to attest thereto, respectively, said Agreement and related documents for and on <br />behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br />ATTY /RESO /RESO.2015 2 <br />051810 <br />
