Other public faciliti.es?

o

o

o

o

Since the project could result in marginally increased residential density within the existing R-2 zoned
districts, it is likely that existing public services, such as police and fire facilities, parks, and schools,
would be utilized by the additional residents. However, the additional residents would not significantly
impact or increase demand on these services for several reasons. First, the maximum increase in
future development that would be permitted by the proposed ordinance amendment could total up to
213 net new units over time. This increase is well within ,the development envelope for the R-2 district
established by the City's approved General Plan. In addition, the 213 potential units would be
dispersed at several locations throughout the City. and not concentrated in a way that would
significantly impact one school, park or public facility to the degree that additional public services would
be required to address the additional population demand.

The proposed project would not resutt in a population increase substantial enough to cause unacceptable
service ratios or a delay in response times for fire protection, emergency services or police protection. Any
new development project would be required to provide adequate street width and turn around for
emergency vehicles, consistent with citywide planning, public works and engineering standards.
Therefore, the project would have a less than significant impact on public services.

XIV.
