City Hall, Public Library, <br /> Hotels and motels, and most real estate agencies. <br /> <br /> · Leadership Redwood City Program <br /> Successfully completed it~ 14'" year in June ~raduadng 37, Leadership Redwood City is <br /> A broad-based program created to identify community leaders. Purticipanls increase their <br /> Knowledge of the community and develop their leadership skills in order to enhance thais' <br /> Civic involvement. <br /> <br /> , Published twice a month "It's Your Town" page in thc Redwood City Independent which reaches <br /> 25,000 households. Provides space for a Mayor's column as well as space to local group,~ <br /> and organizations to promote their projects. <br /> <br /> · Published monthly 4-page sproad in San Matzo Daily Journal with the same objectives as above. <br /> ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br /> · Held Ta Annual Business Appreciation Event October 4. 2001 at thc San Marco County <br /> History Museum honoring local businesses. <br /> <br /> · Held Bi-munthly "Good Morning Redwood City", a vehicle for the C~ity to update the <br /> community on current events. <br /> <br /> · Held several business focus groups. <br /> <br /> · Revision of I~conomic Development Strategy held over to 2002-2003. <br /> <br /> · Researched and publishcd community economic profile for 2001-2002. <br /> <br /> . Made available free business counseling service through (SCORE) Service Corps of Rclired <br /> Executives.
