ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> FOURTH AMENDMENT <br /> TO <br /> UNIFORM FRANCHISE AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> THIS FOURTH AMENDMENT TO THE UNIFORM FRANCHISE <br />AGREEMENT, is made by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation ("Agency"), and BROWNING-FERRIS INDUSTRIES OF <br />CALIFORNIA, INC., a California Corporation ("BFI"); <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 1960, adopted October 12, 1987, <br />Agency entered into a uniform franchise agreement with BFt for solid waste <br />collection services, effective as of October 1, 1987 (the "Master Franchise"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinances No'd. 2077, 2132, and 2143, <br />adopted April 11, 1994, September 7, 1997 and June 1, 1998, Agency and BFI <br />entered into First, Second and Third Amendments, respectively, to the Master <br />Franchise; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Agency is a member of the South Bayside Transfer Station <br />Authority ("Authority"), a public agency established pursuant to the California <br />Joint Exercise of Powers Authority Act (Govt.
