ORIGINAL <br /> 3/16/98 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2138 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE EXTENDING URGENCY INTERIM ORDINANCE <br /> PROHIBITING DEVELOPMENT OF PROPERTY WITHIN THE <br /> "TP" (TIDAL PLAIN) ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION OF <br /> PROPERTIES LOCATED BETWEEN THE LIDO <br /> NEIGHBORHOOD SPECIFIC PLAN AREA AND BAY SLOUGH <br /> AND PROPERTIES WITHIN "AREA H" IN THE REDWOOD <br /> SHORES AREA OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br /> The Council of Redwood City does ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. This Council finds that: <br /> <br /> A. Pursuant to Resolution No. 12023 adopted July 26, 1993, by this <br /> <br />Council, the Lido Neighborhood Specific Plan was adopted; <br /> <br /> B. Pursuant to Ordinance No. 1130-289 adopted August 16, 1993, by <br />this Council, the area within the Lido Neighborhood Specific Plan ("Lido Area") <br />was rezoned from the "TP" (Tidal Plain) Zoning District classification to the "R-1 ," <br />"R-2," "R-3," "CG," "PF," and "TP-W" Zoning District classifications; <br /> <br /> C. The aforesaid land use designations ensure that development <br />within the Lido Area will be devoted primarily to residential use with a portion <br />designated for commercial use, which portion serves as buffer between the <br />residential areas and the industrial type of usage associated with wastewater <br />treatment and disposal facilities located generally easterly of the Lido Area; <br /> <br /> D. Properties located northerly of, and between the Lido Area and Bay <br />Slough and properties commonly described as "Area H" within the Redwood <br />Shores area of the City of Redwood City are presently within the "TP" (Tidal <br /> <br />Ord-025 1 <br />F:/sharedlredwood/council <br />OES:rg <br />02/12/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
