ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING MORATORIUM UPON THE <br /> DEVELOPMENT OF PROPERTY WITHIN THE "CG" (GENERAL <br /> COMMERCIAL) ZONING DISTRICT PORTION OF PROPERTIES <br /> INCLUDED IN THE LIDO NEIGHBORHOOD SPECIFIC PLAN, <br /> AND PROHIBITING THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS OR OTHER <br /> ENTITLEMENTS PERTAINING THERETO <br /> <br /> The Council of Redwood City does ordain as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. This Council finds as follows: <br /> <br /> A. Pursuant to Resolution No. 12023 adopted July 26, 1993, <br /> <br /> by this Council, the Lido Neighborhood Specific Plan (the <br /> "Specific Plan") was adopted; <br /> <br /> B. Pursuant to Ordinance No. 1130-289 adopted August 16, <br /> 1993, by this Council, the area within the Specific Plan was <br /> rezoned from the 'q'P" ('q'idal Plain") Zoning District <br /> Classification to the "R-1 ," "R-2," "R-3," "CG," "PF," and 'q'P- <br /> W" Zoning District Classifications; <br /> <br /> C. Section 15.2 of Ordinance No. 1130, as amended, the <br /> Redwood City Zoning Ordinance (the "Zon. Ord.") permits, <br /> within the CG ("General Commercial") Zoning District <br /> Classification, among other uses, business or professional <br /> offices, and parking lots and garages.
