paraphernalia designed, modified, or altered for the purposes of smoking, <br />ingesting or consuming marijuana, hashish, PCP, or any controlled substance as <br />defined in Division 10 of the California Health and Safety Code, as said division <br />may from time to time be amended, supplemented, or replaced, other than <br />prescription drugs, unless so exhibited, displayed, or offered within a separated <br />room or room-like enclosure from which minors under the age of eighteen (18) <br />years are excluded. Said room shall be designed so that its contents are not <br />visible to persons outside it, and shall have posted at every entrance thereto a <br />sign stating in reasonably visible and legible words that minors under the age of <br />eighteen (18) years, unless accompanied by their parent or legal guardian, shall <br />not be admitted. <br /> <br /> It is an act of public nuisance for any owner, manager, proprietor, or other <br />person in charge of any place of business to invite, allow, or permit any minor <br />under the age of eighteen (18) years to enter, visit, or remain in such a separate <br />room as described in this Section, or in any other place where the paraphernalia <br />described in this Section is exhibited unless such minor is accompanied by his or <br />her parent or legal guardian. <br /> <br /> The provisions of this Section shall be enfomeable pursuant to the <br />provisions of Section 731, et seq., of the Code of Civil Procedure of the State of <br />California.
