<br />Nirmala Dillman, from the San Mateo County Office of Education, spoke about the <br />importance of what Kristen Anderson the Child Care Coordinator does. She said there <br />is a public safety aspect to this and spoke about the need for the type of work and <br />knowledge Ms. Anderson has because there is no oversight and no one else does what <br />she does. <br /> <br />Tippy Irwin, director of Ombudsman Services of San Mateo County, spoke in support of <br />their partnership with the Veterans Memorial Senior Center and the Parks, Recreation, <br />and Community Services Department. She shared some statistical information and <br />said that any cuts would require they to layoff staff and be unable to monitor facilities to <br />same extent.
