7/30/01 <br />O R I G I N A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1 d 9 R Q <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT FOR POSITION OF CITY <br />ATTORNEY <br />(STAN T. YAMAMOTO) <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to employ Stan T. Yamamoto as City <br />Attorney pursuant to the provisions of Section 44 of the Charter of the City of <br />Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of said employment are set forth in <br />the agreement hereinafter referenced; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Employment Agreement -City Attorney," <br />(form dated 07- 19 -01), by and between the City of Redwood City, a municipal <br />corporation of the State of California, and Stan T. Yamamoto ( "Employee "), <br />setting forth the terms and conditions of employment between the City and said <br />Employee, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for the full particulars thereof, is hereby <br />approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute and to attest thereto, respectively, said agreement for and on behalf of <br />the City of Redwood City. <br />Reso -1208 <br />DES:ds <br />F:/Shared/Redwood/Council <br />07/19/01 <br />
