Smoke Free Movies campaign by the Youth Leadership (by several youth <br />advocates) - proclamation to be presented by Mayor Ira. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Aguirre welcomed the youth present and noted she had attended an event <br />by this group and she was impressed by their passion on the topic. Two youth <br />addressed the Council and spoke about the Smoke Free Movies campaign they are <br />leading. They provided details on their efforts. <br /> <br />Mayor Ira made an announcement that the special meeting this Wednesday will start at <br />6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />6. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS AND CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL ACTION: Waive reading of the Consent Calendar and approve the <br />Consent Calendar items. <br /> <br />There were no speakers under Oral Communications. Council Member Foust pulled <br />agenda item 6.2 A. <br /> <br />M/S Foust/Aguirre to approve to approve the Consent Calendar excluding 6.2 A. <br />Motion carried unanimously by electronic vote. <br /> <br />Council Member Foust left the dais. <br /> <br />M/S Gee/Aguirre to approve agenda item 6.2 A. License agreement between Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (JPB) <br />and City of Redwood City (the city) for the Sanitary Sewer Replacement <br />Project (Manzanita, Shasta, Spruce, Pine, and Heller).
