~ ORIGINAL -~ <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2120 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TIME BY WHICH POLES AND <br /> OVERHEAD WIRES SHALL BE REMOVED AND <br /> UNDERGROUND SERVICE PROVIDED WITHIN <br /> UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1994-1; AND <br /> ESTABLISHING THE USE OF UNDERGROUND CONVERSION <br /> ALLOCATION FOR UNDERGROUNDING UTILITIES FOR <br /> CERTAIN RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES THEREIN PURSUANT <br /> TO DECISION BY THE PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION OF <br /> THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article II of Chapter 11 of the <br />Code of the City of Redwood City (commencing with § 11.30), proceedings for <br />the establishment of an underground utility district in a portion of the City of <br />Redwood City were instituted by Resolution No. 12346, adopted October 10, <br />1994; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 12346 sets forth the purpose of said <br />district, its proposed designation, and boundary description describing what utility <br />facilities, if any, may be maintained above ground, and the time and place for <br />hearing objections to the formation of the proposed district; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, subsequent to the hearing held on October 24, 1994, this <br />Council adopted Ordinance No. 2084 entitled, "ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING <br />AN UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT IN A PORTION OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY; DESIGNATING SAID DISTRICT AS UNDERGROUND <br />UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1994-1; DESCRIBING THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID <br />DISTRICT; ESTABLISHING WHAT UTILITY FACILITIES WILL BE <br />MAINTAINED ABOVE GROUND; AND ESTABLISHING THE TIME BY WHICH <br /> <br /> 2120 <br /> <br /> <br />
