DES:d~u 08/29/96 (071/9) <br /> DES:a._ 09/23/96R <br /> <br />conductor in accordance with its tariffs on file with the PUC or <br />as required by its Franchise Agreement with the City. Except for <br />single-family dwellings, McKinley School and Sequoia High School, <br />each property owner within the Underground Utility District shall <br />be responsible for the installation and maintenance of the <br />conduit and termination box located on, under, or within any <br />structure on the premises served. <br /> <br /> SECTION 9. From a'nd after the time fixed by Section 5 of <br />this Ordinance, it shall be unlawful for any person, including <br />utility companies, to erect, maintain or operate any pole, <br />overhead wire or associated structure in any portion of any <br />street, road, alley or way within Underground Utility District <br />No. 1996-1, except to the extent expressly permitted. Violations <br />of this Section shall be a misdemeanor punishable as provided in <br />Section 1.7 of the Code of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br /> SECTION 10. The City Clerk shall give notice of the <br />adoption of this Ordinance as provided by Section 11.47 of the <br />Code of the City of Redwood City and shall accompany said notice <br />with a copy of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> SECTION 11. This Ordinance shall be effective 30 days from <br />the date of its adoption. <br /> <br /> 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
